Felons should vote

May 2020

Just because someone is a murderer or rapist does not mean that they shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

Bernie Sanders agrees.

There was a time in this country when people of a diverse lifestyle were hatefully called “homosexuals.” They are now called “gay.” This “hate thought naming” certainly was also true for the names of those in America of a darker skin tone.

Since most felons in the United States are of color, it is racist to call them felons and certainly racist to call any of them “criminals.” These Innocents of the Underclass were simply targeted by police for practicing their cultural norms and those actions are also committed by whites each and every day and yet the whites walk away free.

The optimum term for all of these unfortunates should not be “criminals” but instead be “detainees” if they are incarcerated and “former detainees” if they have been released.

All detainees should be allowed to vote. Bernie Sanders agrees and it is part of his presidential platform.

America even puts children in prison. One good example is Dzhokhar Tsarnaev who moved with his family to America on a tourist visa and then rightfully claimed asylum.

The Tsarnaev family was greeted with open arms and our citizens, through government grants, donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to them to make their life here a happy one. Dzhokhar then became a U.S. citizen and a year later, due to the emotional strain of being ostracized by white racists, cracked and blew up the Boston Marathon, killing and wounding hundreds all in a desperate cry for help. He is now in a cell on death row. His grandmother in Kyrgyzstan continues to say he is innocent. The Russian FSB warned the American FBI of the child’s purported criminal mindset, but as with Trump and the Russians, the truth is there for all to see.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev
Victim of white hate.

As still innocent, there is no reason that he too should not be allowed to vote.

This also holds true for all those residing in California’s hospital at Vacaville. Those thousands of detainees have every right to vote in local, state and federal elections and even to elect the superintendent of their facility.

This is true also for California’s prison of San Quentin in Marin County and those detainees will certainly bring a breath of fresh air to the elitist white racists and rich who live in their twenty million dollar homes in that county. Let them face their sins and be ruled by the detainees in San Quentin.
